CHAPTER 1 GENERAL RULES

SECTION 1 [Name]
This organization is called the World Sport Fishing Federation.
(It is called the Federation hereafter)

SECTION 2 [Objectives]
The Federation strives to strengthen the relationship among the fishing loving people from the nations round the world and to pioneer a new fishing culture, serving to realize the world peace and unification through the continuous success in the Fishing World Cup.

SECTION 3 [Headquarters]
The headquarters of the Federation is located in both the United State of America and Korea, and the branch office will be set up in each continent and in the member state.

SECTION 4 [Activities]
In order to achieve the objectives indicated in the Section 2, the Federation will be engaged in the following activities.

1) Fishing Tournament in each country
2) Sport Fishing World Champion Cup
3) Development of sport fishing
4) Exchange and the education of fishing culture
5) Interaction among the member states
6) Movement to preserve the natural environment
7) Others

CHAPTER 2 MEMBERSHIP

SECTION 5 [Membership Qualification and the Membership Body]
The Federation recognizes, as the membership qualification, the group of leaders from major fishing organizations and the fishing professionals or instructors in every nation of the world,

SECTION 6 [Membership Registration]
The membership registration is done by submitting the prescribed membership application form, and is completed by the recognition at the executive board meeting.

CHAPTER 3 MEMBERS OF BOARD

SECTION 7 [Members of Board]
The Board Members of the Federation are as follows

1) Director General 1 person
2) Advisory Board in a small number.
3) Consultative Committee in a small number
4) President 1 person
5) Head Vice President 1 person and Continental Vice President 8 persons
6) Executive Board member 10 persons
7) Auditor 2 persons
8) Secretary General 1 person
9) National Chairman 1 person, Vice Chairman 1 person, and General Secretary 1 person.

SECTION 8 [Election of the Board Member]
1) The President, Vice President and Auditors are elected at the general convention and the President will appoint the Secretary General.
2) Continental Vice President is elected among the National Chairman in that continent.
3) Executive Board members are recommended by the President and receive the recognition at the general convention.
4) Director General, Advisory Board members and the members of Consultative Committee are appointed at the General Convention.

SECTION 9 [Authority and Duty of the Board Member]
1) Director General and Advisory Board are the honorary positions for the sake of the enhancement and growth of the Federation.
2) Consultative Committee will give guidance for the administration of the Federation and its various activities.
3) The President will represent the Federation and supervise the entire operation.
4) The Vice President will support the President, and substitute the President in his emergency.
5) Secretary General will receive the instruction from the President and carry out the duty.
6) Auditors check the operation and the financial account of the Federation and prepare a report for the General Convention.
7) Executive Board will vote on the important matters regarding the administration and the undertaking activities of the Federation, and look after its performance.

SECTION 10 [Tenure of the Board Member]
The term for the President will be 4 years, and 2 years for other Board members, and the re-election is possible.

SECTION 11 [Meetings]
The meetings are classified as Regular General Convention, Extraordinary General Meeting and Board Meeting.
1) Regular General Convention takes place yearly.
2) Extraordinary General Meeting will take place at the decision by the President or the Executive Board, when it is recognized as necessary.
3) Board Meeting consists of the President, the Vice President, Executive Board and the Secretary General, and is convened by the President when he recognizes it as necessary.

SECTION 12 [Financial Administration]
The Federation¡¯s financial administration is supported by the following income.

1) Membership fee from the member states.
2) Auspices and donations
3) Others

SECTION 13 [Compensation for the Board Members]
The board members of the Federation are not paid and the positions are honorary.

SECTION 14 [Committees]
In order to achieve the objectives mentioned in the Section 4, the Special Committee (Organizing Committee) can be set up.

SECTION 15 [Other Rules]
What is not prescribed in the Articles above will be dealt with in the Board Meeting according to the accepted practice.

SECTION 16 This Articles of Incorporation becomes effective as of October 19, 2001.
